  • Responsible for leadership, mentoring, and development of the Supply Chain/Logistics organization including:
    • master planning, scheduling, inventory analysis/management, customer service, demand management, capacity analysis, order fulfillment, receiving, warehousing, material movement and shipping.
    • driving continuous process improvement throughout the Supply Chain/Logistics organization to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
    • supporting regular vendor supply risk assessments, proposing and implementing appropriate risk mitigations.
    • maintaining a state of GMP audit readiness and participating in all internal and external agency and client audits.

  • Created robust business development process that in its first year yielded ten new clients totaling eight million in revenue against a goal of two new clients to generate revenue of one million.
  • Built and managed team of Supply Chain specialists to support the company’s transition to CDMO business model
  • Built robust Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and was single point of contact for all commercial and clinical clients to collect forecasts and manage relationships.
  • Created/managed master schedule that fully integrated all demand from clinical and commercial clients into one comprehensive schedule.            


2015-2017        Global Product Launch Leader/Global Supply Chain Consultant

  • Managed global launches for 4 new insulin products/devices: executed 135 successful launches in over 80 markets with 0 delayed launches.
    • Developed and monitored/controlled global launch plans.
    • Led global launch teams (marketing, manufacturing, device manufacturing, quality, engineering, regulatory, medical, pricing, labeling, and logistics/distribution) and drove execution of all global launch activities from regulatory submission through delivery of products to each launching market.


  • Managed high complexity gross margin improvement project: project implemented on schedule and delivered multi-million dollar improvement to gross margin starting in 2017 and increasing in subsequent years.
    • Lead multi-site global team of 24 employees and partnered with global affiliates and third parties to sequence and drive the complex implementation strategy


2002-2014         Project Management Office (PMO) Leader

  • Developed, implemented and managed a Project Management Office (PMO) for a large manufacturing site: one year post-implementation, project schedule conformance improved by 60% and budget conformance improved by 30%.
    • Partnered with site senior management to create rigorous project prioritization and resource management processes to define site’s portfolio. As a result, approximately 300 projects that did not align with the organization’s strategic objectives were cancelled.
    • Developed and implemented portfolio governance processes: approval governance, execution governance, and post-completion audit.
    • Managed team of 5 project managers and mentored 7 project managers.


  • Following success of the site PMO, developed and implemented portfolio governance process and toolkit for high priority projects across multiple global manufacturing sites. Primary purpose was to analyze and manage intersecting regulatory strategies, supply chain strategies and resource utilization.
    • Critical regulatory submission conflicts and resource constraints were identified and managed proactively as a result.


  • Managed planning and successful execution of multiple cross-functional projects, including:
    • Led complex process improvement project that identified and removed inefficient processing steps and reduced processing time by 10%. Managed team of 15 and budget of 1.3M.
    • Led team of 20 employees and architectural/engineering firm to design manufacturing laboratory facility: Design was completed on schedule and under budget (10M).
      • Centralized labs from multiple sites into one location
      • Re-designed work and equipment flows to optimize efficiency in an “open lab” concept
      • Partnered with key consultants to ensure DEA, FDA and OSHA compliance.


  • Earned Six Sigma Green Belt certification and managed 2-3 Six Sigma projects per year:
    • Successfully executed Green Belt project that accelerated launch of a product resulting in 600K increased sales revenue.
